In order for us to pay your cash refund, the store need to track you as you move from our website to their store and then purchase. Mostly this is done with something called Cookies. So making sure Cookies are set up correctly on your computer is VITAL. Thankfully, it's also easy.

The biggest issue we need to avoid is another website putting their Cookie in your computer. This means that, when you buy, the store will think the referral to come from any other source and not StartHere.com.au. This means your cash refund will not be recorded.

At a MINIMUM here's what you should do make sure your Browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc) is set up to Accept Cookies. Below are some instructions.

Internet Explorer

1. Open the Internet Explorer browser
2. Press Alt-X at the same time to open Tools or click the Gear Wheel icon on the top menu bar at the far right
3. Choose Internet Options from the menu
4. On the General tab, which is open, look at the Browsing History section
5. Click the Delete button
6. Make sure the checkbox Cookies is checked
7. Click the Delete button at the bottom
8. Now click the Privacy tab at the top of the menu
9. You will NOT be able to use StartHere.com.au if the setting you have is either BLOCK ALL COOKIES or HIGH. To get refunds, you must make the setting one of Medium, Low (not recommended), or Accept All Cookies (not recommended).
10. Click the Apply button
11. Click the Ok button

Ideally, repeat steps 1 to 7 every time you buy. Run these steps when you land on the homepage of StartHere.com.au.

Google Chrome

1. Open the Google Chrome browser
2. Press Control-Shift-Delete keys at the same time
3. A new window just opened called Clear Browsing Data
4. Where it says "in the past hour" change this to the beginning of time
5. Make sure the checkbox Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data is checked
6. Click the button at the bottom Clear Browsing Data
7. Now click on the Spanner icon on the top menu bar at the far right
8. Choose Options from the menu
9. Choose Under The Hood from the left menu
10. Click on the Content Setting button
11. The best option to select is the top one: Allow local data to be set (recommended)
